MissionThe Mission Statement is “win, build, send” and our overall strategy is that the church supports its people as they try to be Christ in the world. Baptist Missionary SocietyAs well as supporting BMS financially, we also support two of our members, Martin and Katrina Butterworth, who are serving God through BMS in Nepal. They have two children, Ruth and Esther. We also operate the BMS Birthday Scheme whereby you receive a Birthday Card with an envelope for your gift which goes to the Medical work of BMS. At our Harvest Festival, we support Operation Agri raising funds for a particular BMS project each year. Any donations received in the dish provided when we collect our coffee or tea after morning service is given to the YBA 1% appeal for world development. Home MissionWe support Home Mission via collecting boxes and other specific fundraising events throughout the year. At Christmas, we produce a Christmas Greetings sheet for the fellowship and/or provide a postbox for delivery of cards to the fellowship in return for a donation which is given 50/50 to BMS and Home Mission.
